Is It Time For A Brake Check

Hey – if someone were to ask you what the most important safety system in your vehicle was, what would you say? The airbags, maybe? Nope, the answer is the brakes. In fact, the airbags may never get the chance to protect you if the brakes are always working correctly, as they are what stands between you and an accident. With that in mind, you’ll no doubt want to keep your car’s brakes in the absolute best shape they can be in, but how do you do that? With regular brake check-ups, of course!

How Long Has It Been?

When was the last time you had your brakes inspected? If it has been more than a year, or you can’t even remember your last check-up, chances are it is probably past the time to get it done. Most auto repair shops recommend you get your brakes checked at least once a year, and most recommend even more frequent inspections. During these inspections, our team will check your entire braking system for problems, and work with you on getting the necessary repairs completed. Don’t let this essential service slide!

Squealing & Grinding

If you hear noises such as squeaking, squealing, or grinding when you attempt to stop your vehicle, this is your car’s way of letting you know there is a problem. This means your brake pads or shoes are dangerously worn down, and need replacement immediately. If you are hearing noises from your brakes, it is most certainly time for a brake service.
